Anna Schweizer has had an illustrious career in the performing arts thus far. Born in Vienna, Austria, she quickly fell in love with symphonic and orchestral music and found her passion playing the cello. In 1998 she was granted admission into the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She earned her IGP diploma in 2003 and was admitted to the Utrecht Conservatory for a bachelor's program she would later complete in 2007. In 2009, she received a Master of Music diploma for the cello from Rotterdam Art College. In her early years, she focused on studying the “modern” cello before devoting herself to more early styles of the instrument and historical performance practice. Her recent orchestral arrangements and playing career include "niederösterreichische Tonkünstler", “Bühne Baden”, “Orchester Wiener Akademie,” and “Ensemble 1756.” After studying and performing in the Netherlands for over 15 years, Anna now resides back in Vienna. In 2019-2023 Anna performed the solo cello part in the theatre productions of Dr. O. Brusatti designed for actors and Violoncello solo. In 2020 Anna co-founded the ensemble KammerAT, where she performes as a cellist.

Anna teaches the Alexander Technique and the cello.
